Kotkan Energia is a local energy supplier specializing in versatile energy production in the Kotka area. They mainly produce district energy, industrial steam, electricity, and waste utilization. Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas is using the Vexve X series stainless steel shut-off valves to ensure that the cooling and heating lines of their fermentation tanks can be closed reliably in possible actuator fault situations.

The new district heating plant built by Liedon Lämpö Oy was commissioned in October 2020. In connection with the new plant, also about one kilometer of district heating network line was built. Vexve's valves together with Vexve's smart underground control and monitoring solutions, guarantee the reliable operation of the district heating plant and the network.

HS Tarm in Denmark has developed a small-sized power plant where a hybrid system with prefabricated heat pumps is placed inside a shipping container. Vexve X series valves are used to control the flow to each individual heat pump as well as on/off valves.

Kuopion Energia started district cooling with its new Savilahti district cooling plant in the summer of 2020. The district cooling produced with the help of cold lake water is currently used by nearby educational institutions and commercial properties, as well as Kuopio University Hospital (KYS), which in the future will use almost 2/3 of the plant's capacity.
